Parent Company Of KCCR Adding New Mitchell Radio Station

Riverfront Broadcasting, LLC, the parent company of KCCR AM/KCCR FM/KLXS is proud to announce the addition of KORN Country 92.1 to its Mitchell family of stations.
Mitchell General Manager John Koons says KORN Country 92.1 has been in the works for a long time.
“Two years in the making, and two months in the building once we got the go ahead,” said Koons.
KORN Country will play a new country format featuring the industry’s biggest stars.
Koons says Clint Greenway segues from KORN News Radio to the morning slot on KORN Country. He’s joined by News Director J.P. Skelly and Sports Director Steve Morgan providing the information you need with continuous country music you love.
The 100,000 watt KORN Country 92.1 goes on the air December 21st at 4 p.m., with a chance for a lucky person to win $92,100. Registration is now open on-line at www.korncountry921.com.
Construction of the new tower and transmitter is continuing at the KORN site a mile east of Mitchell.
KORN Country 92.1 studios are located at 400 North Rowley in Mitchell, two blocks from the World’s Only Corn Palace.
Riverfront Broadcasting, LLC also owns three stations in Pierre and three in Yankton, along with six stations in Iowa.
