Capitals Fall in First Two Exhibition Games

The Oahe Capitals got on the ice for the first time this year. They hosted the Huron All Stars on Saturday night and then traveled to Huron on Sunday. Both games went in favor of the All Stars as the Capitals couldn’t come back to split the two meetings. On Saturday night, the Capitals got a goal from Andy Gordon to open up the scoring, however three second and third period goals by Huron were too much for the Capitals as they fell 7-3.

On Sunday, Jackson Lake and Gordon scored both goals for the Capitals but the Huron All Stars led 4-1 after two periods to hold on to a 4-2 win.

The Capitals will return to action on Saturday in Mitchell and then at home on Sunday. Oahe will play in the Rapid City Tournament starting on November 16th.
