City Of Pierre Joins Hughes County In Approval Of Alert Sense System

The City of Pierre is on board an effort to establish a mass notification system across Hughes and Stanley Counties. The Pierre City Commission approved a memorandum of understanding between the two governing boards to support the program that will allow for the notification to users to dangerous situations like severe weather or public notifications of things like road closures or water main breaks.
