Dean Talks Basketball and Baseball Being Canceled at Dakota Wesleyan

As the NAIA season came winding down, Pierre native and Dakota Wesleyan junior, Bradley Dean, was in Sioux Falls for the national tournament just about set to play on the second night of the tournament in the first round. It was on Thursday, March 12 which the Dakota Wesleyan Tigers were supposed to open up their tournament against Indiana University-South Bend. The night before the game, it was announced fans were not going to be allowed to come into the arena, only parents and family members of the players were allowed to watch. However, by mid-afternoon, the remaining tournament was canceled and the season was over in the blink of an eye. Dean says they had been in Sioux Falls all week and didn’t think anything of it until Wednesday night…

Dean will have his senior year of basketball next season but still will have two years of eligibility for baseball going into the spring of 2021.
