Eagle Butte Man Indicted By Federal Grand Jury For Larceny

(KCCR) — An Eagle Butte man has been indicted by a federal grand jury on larceny charges. U-S Attorney Ron Parsons says 29 year old Randy Little Shield was indicted on July 16th. Little Shield entered not guilty pleas to the Indictment before U-S Magistrate Judge Mark Moreno on July 22nd. The Indictment claims that from March 6th to March 13th, Little Shield unlawfully took property from someone with that property being valued at over one-thousand dollars. If convicted, Little Shield could face up to five years in federal prison and/or a 250-thousand dollar fine along with three years of probation, an assessment to the Federal Crime Victims fund and restitution for damages. Little Shield is currently in the custody of the U-S Marshals Service, pending trail. A trial date has not been set.
