The Fort Pierre City Council is meeting tonight at the Stanley County Courthouse Commission room. The Council will consider approval of the Consent Calendar and will hold a public hearing on an ordinance to re-zone a parcel from Highway Commercial to General Commercial. The group will consider an agreement with the Verendrye Museum. The Fort Pierre City Council is meeting 30 minutes earlier than normal to discuss the agreement before taking action on the request later in the evening. A temporary liquor license request by the Pat Duffy Community Center for the Rotary Club on February 10th is on the agenda along with an antenna site lease agreement with Hughes County. Alderman will consider a request by Mayor Gloria Hanson to serve on the Board of Directors for Grow South Dakota, and will consider moving permit filed by Lee Smith. The group is scheduled to meet in executive session. The Fort Pierre City Council is meeting again earlier tonight at six PM. The meeting is open to the public.
