(KCCR) — The Fort Pierre City Council is meeting tonight at the South Dakota Municipal League building in Fort Pierre. The Council will consider approval of the agenda and declare any conflicts of interest before hearing reports from City officials. Two public hearings will be held for temporary liquor license requests. Both are for events at the Casey Tibbs Rodeo Center on November 17th and an event on November 21. Dr. Mikel Holland from Avera St. Mary’s Hospital will give the Council an update on the Covid-19 pandemic much like he did last week at the Pierre City Commission meeting. Council members will consider renewal of the Casey’s malt beverage license for 2020-2021, a 2020 electrical license for Tieszen Electric and the fourth and final payment request for work on the Verendrye Museum, filed by Ferding Electric. The Fort Pierre City Council meets tonight at 6:30 pm. To join the meeting remotely call 1-312-626-6799 or use the Zoom meeting program. The access code for either is 814-124-6625.
