Fort Pierre Man Gets Suspended Prison Time For 3rd DUI

A Fort Pierre man has been sentenced to suspended time in prison after pleading guilty to his third D-U-I in 10 years. Sixty-four year-old Michael Guy Livingston was arrested for Third offense D-U-I, open container and obstructing law enforcement on May 12th. Stanley County Circuit Court Judge Patricia DeVaney suspended two years in prison for Livingston, however he must complete three years of supervised probation. That probation includes inpatient treatment, 60 days in the Hughes County Jail with credit for time served and completing a treatment program successfully. Livingston must obey other conditions including paying back any financial obligations and he has lost the use of a driver’s license for one year.
