The Fort Pierre City Council has full agenda for consideration tonight. Councilmembers will get a presentation from the Pierre/Fort Pierre Historic Preservation Committee and will talk with the Fort Pierre Youth Baseball Association and American Legion Post 20 regarding the summer baseball program. Aldermen will get a Flood Study Update from the Federal Emergency Management Agency and will discuss a cost allocation for the study. Final recommendations from the Fort Pierre side of the Missouri River Bridge project are expected along with consideration of a memorandum of understanding with the Stanley County Register of Deeds regarding plats. Two change orders are on the agenda for consideration along with giving authorization to advertise for bids on restoration work at the Verendrye Museum. The Council will consider repairs to a lift station and a proposal for sewer main lining. Public hearings will be set for the pending transfers of liquor licenses from McCellands to M-A-T & T Rentals. The Council will also consider a Developers Agreement for Compton’s Cove and three resolutions regarding plats. The Fort Pierre City Council is also scheduled to meet in executive session. The busy night for the Fort Pierre City Council begins at 6:30 PM in the Stanley County Courthouse Commission room in the basement. The meeting is open to the public.
