The Hughes County Commission is meeting this evening at the Courthouse in Pierre. Commissioners will start the meeting at 5:30 P-M with a public hearing on a moving permit. There is no old business for consideration but there are a number of items of new business. Commissioners will get an update from the Mental Health Task Force and will consider a contract with Baron. The Commission will give first consideration to a plat filed by Mike and Angela Roman. Commissioners will consider an upgrade to M-T-S Security Electronics and a personnel issue. Also up for consideration is approval of verified claims and a contract for Community Health Nursing Services. The Commission will hear liaison reports and reports from the County Manager. The Hughes County Commission will meet in executive session for three items. They include Care of the Poor, Personnel and contractual matters. The Hughes County Commission meets tonight at 5:30 PM in the Commission room of the Hughes County Courthouse on the second floor. The meeting is open to the public.
