The Hughes County Commission is meeting tonight at the Hughes County Courthouse. Commissioners will consider approval of the agenda and of meeting minutes from the October 15th meeting before moving into public comment. There is no old business on the agenda but plenty of items of new. New business includes considering Health Insurance renewals and a salary schedule. The Commission will consider holiday time for Christmas and will consider Equipment Purchases for the Highway Department. There are two Planning and Zoning items on the agenda. The first is first reading of a rezoning request. The second is first consideration of a plat request. The Hughes County Commission will consider a J-S-C Contract, Investment, Personnel and three items related to the Cow/Spring Creek Sanitary System. Commissioners will canvass the votes from the November sixth general election and hearing liaison reports and the County Manager report before considering approval of the verified claims. The Hughes County Commission meets tonight in the second floor Commission room at 5:30 PM. The meeting is open to the public.
