(KCCR) — The Hughes County Commission is meeting tonight at the Hughes County Courthouse. Commissioners will have a busy day meeting at 3:35 pm as the Consolidated Equalization Boards then at 4:25 pm as the County Equalization Board. The County Commission will gavel in at its usual 5:30 pm start time. The Commission will consider approval of the agenda and of the minutes from the April 1st meeting followed by old business. There is only one item of old business. That includes a request by Agtegra to land spray aircraft on county roads. New business includes an update on the Cow/Spring Creek Sanitary District and the first reading of a plat and re-zoning request. A personnel item and sheriff’s update is on the agenda. Commissioners will consider bids for the repaving of Grey Goose Road and will consider approval of the verified claims before hearing liaison and County Manager reports. The Hughes County Commission will also meet in executive session. The Hughes County Commission meets tonight in the second floor Commission room. The meeting is open to the public.
