Hughes County Commission To Meet Tonight

(KCCR) — The Hughes County Commission is meeting tonight. Commissioners have three public hearings to begin their meeting. All three deal with plat and rezoning requests brought by Darrell Baade, Kevin and Fay Paulsen and Mark Garber. New business includes discussion on new building finance, State’s Attorney contract and renewal of health insurance for county employees. Commissioners will discuss the employee salary schedule, personnel matters an indemnity bond for survey work and an agreement with Schumacher Gravel. Other agenda items include consideration of the Center for Tech and Civic Life election grant, Covid-19 procedures, approval of the verified claims and reports from liaisons and the County Manger.
