The Hughes County Commission is set to meet tonight in regular session. The Commission will consider approval of the agenda and meeting minutes from the October 16th meeting. There is no old business for consideration but a number of new business items. Those items include a 4-H Update and Highway Functional Classification Change. Commissioners will consider gravel crushing bids and Baron Weather contract approval. Discussion will be held on a contract with Alert Sense and the Commission will consider personnel matters. First consideration will be given to a plat request. Commissioners will consider a delinquent tax agreement, health insurance salary schedule and the abatement of property taxes. The Hughes County Commission will also consider approving verified claims, hear county manager and liaison reports and will hold an executive session for Care of Poor under South Dakota Codified Law 1-25-2 (3) and HIPPA. The Hughes County Commission meets tonight at 5:30 PM.
Also meeting is the Pierre City Commission. They are scheduled only for an executive session matter at the Pierre Municipal Building at 7:30 PM.
