The number of hospitalized is 194 and the state’s death toll sits at 210. Hospital use for Covid-19 patients is at eight-percent statewide with Intensive Care bed use for Covid at 11%. The State Women’s now has 120 cases as the Department of Corrections officials are doing additional testing. Hughes County now has five deaths from Covid-19 with 365 total cases, 173 active and 187 recovered. Other new central South Dakota cases include 16 in Hughes, two in Stanley, Potter, Haakon and Buffalo, seven in Lyman, four in Hand, nine in Dewey and 12 in Tripp.
