(KCCR) — A crash on Saturday afternoon on Interstate 90 has killed a 31 year old male passenger. The South Dakota Highway Patrol says a 2006 Ford F-150 was westbound on the interstate nine miles east of Murdo around three PM when the vehicle went into the north ditch and rolled over. Both the driver and a passenger were using seat belts at the time. The 31 year-old passenger was partially ejected during the crash. The 34 year-old female driver was transported to Avera St. Mary’s hospital in Pierre with serious non-life threatening. The names of those involved are being withheld pending notification of family members. The crash remains under investigation by the South Dakota Highway Patrol.
