Lady Chargers Improve To 3-0

PARKSTON, S.D. (TodaysKCCR.com) – As heard on Country 95.3, trailing 27-25 at the half, the Sully Buttes Lady Chargers rallied in the second half en route to a 57-44 victory over Tripp-Delmont/Armour Thursday evening at the Parkston Classic.

The Lady Chargers were lead in scoring by junior Lauren Wittler with 23 points. Wittler had only eight points at the half. Also leading the way was senior guard Rachel Guthmiller who finished the night with 21 points. Sully Buttes also made it count at the free throw line, going 17 of 20 and outscored the Nighthawks 32-17 in the second half.

The Lady Chargers improve to 3-0 and will hit the road on Tuesday and head to Mobridge to take on the Mobridge-Pollock tigers.  DT Meyer will have the call of that game on Country 95.3 and PierreCountry.com.
