(KCCR) — The Pierre City Commission has a light agenda in front of them for tonight’s regular meeting of group. The Commission will consider approval of a five-item Consent Calendar. On the calendar are minutes from the June 4th meeting, the hiring of Lacey Walz as Deputy Finance Officer, a raffle request filed by the Dakota Western Heritage Festival, Carnival License filed by Mac’s Carnival for Oahe Days and the Claims. From there, it’s only two items of unfinished business for consideration. They include an update on the Missouri River status and the holding of the second reading of the 2019 Budget Supplement Ordinance. There is no new business on the agenda for consideration. Commissioners will then be open to give comment during Dialogue before the meeting is adjourned. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 pm in the Commission chambers of the Pierre Municipal Building. The meeting is open to the public.
