Oahe Bantam Capitals Suffer Losses Over The Weekend

Oahe Bantam Capitals suffer weekend losses to the Huron All-Stars and the Aberdeen Cougars.

A strong All-Star offense would tally two goals in the first period to take the lead 2-0 but not before a goal from the Capitals own Ashton Lee with an assist from Isaac Polak that would bring the score to 1-2.  The lone Oahe goal would not be enough to take the Friday night win from the All-Stars.  Final score was 4-1.  Colin Lee recorded 17 saves on the night for the Caps.

The Sunday afternoon game at home against the Aberdeen Cougars would be decided in the last 6 minutes of the game.  The score was tied 1-1 at the end of the first period with a Polak goal and the assist credited to Turner Starr.  The Caps would lead 3-2 at the end of the 2nd period with another Polak goal after a pass from Jaden Flor and a goal from Starr with the assist from Polak.  The Cougars would score two more goals in the third period to record the win against the Caps with a final score of 4-3.  Kieran Duffy recorded 16 saves on the day for the Capitals.
