Oahe Capitals Bantams were victorious over the Sioux Center Tornadoes this past weekend at the Expo Center.
On Saturday, both teams were scoreless in the first period. The Capitals would score three goals to the Tornadoes one goal to end the second period with a score of 3-1. A pair of goals from Carson Palmer and a goal from Turner Starr in the second period. Isaac Polak and Jonathan Lyons with assists to their teammates. Polak would score the final goal of the game in the third period with the assist from Ashton Lee. The Caps would bring home the win with a final score of 4-2. Colin Lee had 10 saves in the net on Saturday.
Strong offense from the Capitals on Sunday would secure another win with a final score of 8-2. Lyons had two goals and one assist, Polak would have a hat trick with one assist, Starr would tally three assists, Palmer would contribute two assists and Ryan Wedin would register one assist. Ashton Griese also recorded two goals and an assist on Sunday. Michael Molseed would find the puck in the net for a goal. Kieran Duffy had 15 saves in the net on Sunday.
The Capitals travel to Aberdeen on Saturday to take on the Cougars.
