Bantam Oahe Capitals tie top ranked Sioux Falls Flyers for the South Dakota Hockey Day at the Denny Sanford Premier Center in Sioux Falls this past Saturday.
The Flyers would be the first to get on the scoreboard but Isaac Polak would earn a goal for the Oahe Capitals with a pass from Carson Palmer to tie the score 1-1 at the end of the first period.
Three unanswered Oahe goals in the second period would bring the score 3-1 at the end of the 2nd period. Polak would complete the hat trick with a pair of goals and an assist from Jonathan Lyons while Turner Starr would get the other unassisted goal of the second period.
Sioux Falls would answer back in the third period with three goals of their own to send the game into overtime with a score of 4-4. Neither team would be successful in capture the win in the 10 minute sudden death overtime to end the game with a tie. Colin Lee recorded 43 saves on the day.
The Oahe Capitals will travel to Brookings this Saturday for their last regular season game.
