Oahe Capitals Sweep Huron

The Oahe Capitals would get their hockey season started this season with a home and home with Huron. On Saturday the Oahe Capitals would host the Huron All Stars and the Capitals would dominate from start to finish winning 4-1.

The Caps would get the goal scoring early in the first period after Clay Amabach would bury the first goal of the season to make it 1-0. The Capitals were not done their in the first period as Caden Davis would get one past the goalie to make it 2-0 after the first period.

The Capitals would come out for the second period and put another goal on the board after Carsten Mueller put one on net from the blue line that found its way in to make it 3-1. The Capitals again would strike in the second period as Riggs Sanchez would get his first goal of the season with a beautiful shot from the point that went into the top right corner, which made it 4-1.

The Caps would travel to Huron on Sunday and win that game 5-3. Oahe goes to 2-0 on the season. They will be back in action this coming weekend with another home and home with Mitchell. They will play at Mitchell Saturday and will host them Sunday from the Expo Center.
