The Oahe Capitals were in action over the weekend as they played a home and home with Mitchell. It would be a battle on Saturday but the Capitals would once again come away with the victory winning 4-3. Then on Sunday the Capitals would return home and win a high scoring affair 6-4.
The Capitals would get out to a big lead in the first period as Caden Davis would get the goal scoring also scoring was Spencer Wedin and Riggs Sanchez. In the second period the Caps were only able to manage one goal as Wyatt Grannes would slip one past the goalie. Into the third period were Carsten Mueller would get one to go and also after Mitchell had cut the lead to one Sanchez fired a shot that wasn’t to be stopped and went in to give the Capitals the 6-4 lead.
The Caps will head out to Rapid City this coming weekend for their first tournament of the year. They will get things started on Friday even as they will take on Gillette.
