The agreement is with Missouri River Energy Services, one of two power providers the City of Pierre uses. The cost is 60-thousand dollars, but M-R-E-S has agreed to pay half of that cost. The city’s half will be rolled into the Electric budget meaning customers will not see an increase in their monthly electric bills.
