Pierre City Commission To Meet Tonight

(KCCR) — The Pierre City Commission is meeting tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building. The Commission will consider approval of a five-item consent calendar before moving on to three items of new business. The calendar includes approval of the minutes from the July 21st meeting, the hiring of a police officer and seasonal street department help, a raffle request and the claims. Commissioners will consider approval of a change order for the Boys and Girls Club project and will hold an open house for the Griffin Park storm shelter on August 5th. The Commission will also hear the 2020 financial report for the third quarter ending June 30th. The meeting will end with Commissioners presenting any dialogue they may have. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 pm.
