(KCCR) — The Pierre City Commission is meeting tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building. Two items of special business will start the meeting. A proclamation will be made for Professional Engineer’s Day and an update on Covid-19 will be given. Commissioners will consider approval of a six item consent calendar including minutes from July 28th meeting, two raffle requests, a new hire, a volunteer firefighter and the claims. New business includes consideration of a request to allow wine at the Rotary meeting on August 17th in the Boys and Girls Club Building and will consider the plat of two lots in the Fourth Railway Addition. The Commission will get a presentation on the Rawlins Library Story Walk on August 12th and details on a ground breaking for the drinking water treatment plant. Rounding out the agenda is an update on fundraising for the Outdoor pool project and a presentation on the 2021 Pierre city budget. Commissioner will end the meeting by presenting any dialogue they may have. The Pierre City Commission meets at 5:30 pm.
