(KCCR) — The Pierre City Commission is meeting tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building. The meeting will start with a Covid-19 update in special business followed by consideration of a four-item consent calendar. New business for Commissioners tonight includes considering approval of the parade route for the annual T-F Riggs High School Homecoming parade and holding first reading and setting a public hearing for a rezoning and plat request filed by East River Electric. Commissioners will consider approval of a change order on the 2020 curb and gutter project and will consider an agreement with the Western Area Power Administration. The final two outside agency budget presentations will be made tonight followed by first reading of the 2021 budget ordinance. The Commission will also consider a request to surplus property made by city Administration and the police department. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 pm.
