Pierre Governor Volleyball Faces Final Match of the Regular Season

Tonight marks the final regular season match of the season for the Pierre Governor Volleyball team as the Govs host the Huron Tigers looking for one final win of the season.

Both teams are coming into tonight winning on Tuesday in straight sets, the Governors over Mitchell and the Tigers over Brandon Valley. These two teams met just about a month ago, on October 8 as the Tigers won in four sets in Huron. The Governors won the first set over Huron but dropped the next three to claim victory. The Tigers are sitting in third place in the Class AA standings looking to find themselves in that spot heading into the SoDak 16 next week. If the standing don’t change at the end of the week, the Governors would be traveling to Rapid to face the six seed Stevens Raiders.

First serve tonight from the ESD is scheduled for 7:00, you can listen on Today’s KCCR and todayskccr.com with Jon Winkler on the call.
