The Pierre Governor Volleyball team traveled to Huron as their toughest part of the schedule continues playing the number four team in the Tigers. The Governors won the first set 25-22 but couldn’t pick a win in the next three and fell in four sets with the final three sets being 21-25, 13-25 and 13-25.
The Governors fall to 6-8 and under .500 for the first time since they were 0-2 to begin the year. The schedule doesn’t get any easier for the next two weeks as they will welcome in Watertown, the number two team, next Tuesday, number five Sioux Falls Washington next Thursday and number six Lincoln on Friday.
The Govs will look for a bounce back win next week Tuesday when they return home to host Watertown. You can listen to next Tuesday’s match on Today’s KCCR and todayskccr.com with Jon Winkler on the call.
