Pierre Native, South Dakota State Senior Talks Baseball Ending

All Spring sports have been canceled across the country in the NCAA as well as the championships that go with them. For those in Spring sports who are seniors, have the chance to play one more time with a free year of eligibility. Former Pierre standout, Landon Badger has to make that decision as his senior year was cut short after South Dakota State played just 17 games on the year.

Badger was hitting .222 in 16 games with 15 starts this year. He drove in nine runs, had three doubles and went deep once. Badger finished the year on a three game hitting streak and had a base hit in five of the last six games including a 4-5 performance against Air Force. The Jackrabbits were 5-12 on the season and never played a home game.
