(KCCR) — The Pierre School Board is holding its monthly regular meeting tonight at the District Administration Building. The Board will consider approval of the agenda and of an eight-item Consent Calendar before moving on to comments from Superintendent Dr. Kelly Glodt. Comments from any Board members will follow along with an update from the Riggs Student Council and any comments from the public. Board members will get an update on the newly formed School Safety Coordinator position and will consider approval of a Leave of Absence proposal. Also up for consideration is approval of an election date for open positions on the Pierre School Board and consideration of a joint election agreement. The agreement has already been considered by the Hughes County Commission and Pierre City Commission. Other items on the agenda include consideration of Administrator contracts, donations and other contract considerations. The Pierre School Board meets tonight at 5:30 pm. The meeting is open to the public.
