Pierre Trappers Adding New Players To The Team

The Pierre Trappers remain busy with signing players for their upcoming inaugural season, which will start in May.

The Trappers have signed two more players Connor and Tyler McDonald will be joining the team this summer after they pitched their junior year at Monmouth College in Illinois this spring. Connor and Tyler are from Tremont, Illinois and are twins.

The Trappers have also signed Caleb Kyle a sophomore outfielder at Abilene Christian University in Abilene, Texas. He is from Frisco, Texas and will be playing his first season at Abilene this spring after hitting .358 with 8 home runs and 42 RBIs in 51 games with Howard College in 2017.

The Trappers have also added to their front office as they have hired an Assistant General Manager Jamaal Cummings. Jamaal will be coming to the Trappers from the University of Minnesota-Morris athletic department where he is the Director of Communications Assistant. Jamaal grew up in Fairbanks, Alaska and played football at Minnesota-Morris while pursuing his degree in Sport Management. He has previous experience in the collegiate summer league baseball industry as a Marketing Intern with the Duluth Huskies of the Northwoods League, and also gained valuable experience working numerous events while in school.
