Pierre Trappers Go 1-1 Over The Weekend

The Pierre Trappers got to play at home before the All-Star break, which got started yesterday over the weekend.

On Friday night Pierre would take on the Casper Horseheads. Pierre would get of front quickly as they scored all of their runs in the first three innings as they won this game 11-0. Eric Romo would pitch a complete game going seven innings, gave up one hit, no runs, one walk and seven strikeouts.

Then on Saturday night the Trappers would continue with the Horseheads. Pierre would get out to 9-0 lead before letting it slide away and ultimately falling short as they would drop this game 11-10. Tyler McDonald would get the start as he would go six innings, gave up five hits, two runs (two earned), two walks and six strikeouts.

With the split over the weekend the Trappers head into the All-Star break with a 14-17 record. Pierre will be back from the All-Star break on Wednesday as they will be in Aberdeen. You can hear that game on Capital City Rock 104.5 FM and on capitalcityrock.com.
