Pierre Trappers Return Home After Tough Loss

The Pierre Trappers had a chance heading into the series, especially after winning game won in a crazy high scoring affair, to gain ground on the Big Sticks in the division. However, the Trappers would lose a heart breaker in game two of the series after being up 3-0 and last night gave up two different six spots to the Big Sticks and fell 14-3. Badlands connected on 17 hits in the ball game and hit two home runs in part of those 17 hits. The Trappers committed four errors and mustered nine hits.

The Trappers are now at 7-11 and trail Badlands by six games in the Lewis Division. But the good news is that Trappers will finally return home and will play 11 out of the last 16 games at home in the month of June. They open up a three game set tonight against Freemont with first pitch against the Moo at 7:05 on Capital City Rock and capitalcityrock.com
