The Pierre Volleyball team took the furthest travel of the season on Tuesday, down to Yankton, facing a Gazelle team that had yet to win a match. The Governors made sure it remained that way as they beat Yankton in four sets, 15-25, 25-14, 25-18 and 25-20. Pierre picks up their fourth win of the season as they are now back to .500 at 4-4. Yankton drops to 0-11 on the year.
After falling in the first set by ten points, the Governors wasted no time in pick up their first win of the match beating Yankton by 11 and then again by 7 in set three to put a stranglehold on the match and found the victory in the fourth set.
