Post 8 Drops Tough One At Home

Post 8 returned home for the first time in a while last night as they took on Minot, North Dakota.

The 8’s would start this game off very well and had a lead 2-0 going to the top of the fifth when Minot would score five runs to get the lead for good. Minot would go on to win this game 12-3, as they scored seven runs in the last three innings. Post 8 also had seven errors in the game.

Dawson Puepke would get the start he would go four and a third innings, allowed three hits, five runs (three earned), seven walks and two strikeouts. Alex Badger, Kyle Stover and Jake Mayer would all come in to close the game. Peyton Zabel had two RBI double also Grey Zabel was able to get a double.

With the lost Post 8 see’s their record drop to 20-19 on the season.

The 8’s are back to action this morning as they will play Minot once again at 11 am from Hyde Stadium. Then this afternoon around four Post 8 will take on Watertown. Both of the games today can be heard on Today’s KCCR AM 1240 and on
