Rathbun, who has previously served on the Fort Pierre City Council, will take office July 20th. The Fort Pierre Ward II election was originally scheduled for April 14, but was delayed due to social distancing concerns with the Covid-19 pandemic. June 30th was the last day available for the election to be held.
