The Stanley County Commission is meeting tonight in Fort Pierre. The Board will start with the appointment of Commission District Two. They will also approve minutes from meetings on October third and tenth and review and approve claims. The Commission will also get reports from the Treasurer and Auditor and will work on the County Budget. Commissioners will hear from Hilary Risner with 4-H and the Extension service. Scott Deal will discuss Bleachers and New Year’s Eve Bull Riding at the Fairgrounds. Highway Superintendent Lee Smith will talk with Commissioners about 2018 Gravel Crushing and a skid mounted spray unit for the Weed and Pest Department. Katie Hanson will discuss the 4-H finals and a five year contract and waiver for Stanley County. Emergency Management Director Rob Fines is on the agenda to discuss Alert Sense with the Commission. Commissioners will consider a two-year rental agreement with the Walworth County Jail. Two Liquor license renewals are up for consideration along with an executive session for personnel matter. The Stanley County Commission meets tonight at 5:00 PM and the meeting is open to the public.
