Stanley County Commission Set To Meet Tonight

(KCCR) — The Stanley County Commission is meeting tonight in Fort Pierre. Commissioners will hear a report on the 4-H National Western Stock Show and will get an update from Coroner Gary Grittner. The Commission will meet with South Dakota Department of Transportation Regional Engineer Dean VanDe Wieile regarding a joint powers agreement for a paving project on Highway 14-34 near Hayes. Fairgrounds Manager Scott Deal is on the agenda to discuss four items tied to the Fairgrounds. They include shooting sports, WiFi, the parking lot and panels. Highway Superintendent Lee Smith will brigh forth and ordinance request regarding cattle guards and fencing and will discuss the Haakon-Stanley road agreement. Other items on the agenda for Stanley County Commissioners include a Memorandum of Understanding with South Dakota State University, a courthouse camera and key card system and more. The Stanley County Commission meets in the Stanley County Courthouse Commission room at five pm. The meeting is open to the public.
