(KCCR) — The coronavirus is also on the mind of the Stanley County Commission. A rare Thursday night meeting of that group is being called for this evening. The very light agenda only contains two items. The Commission will consider a temporary closure of the Stanley County Courthouse to the public and video enhancements to the Commission room which is shared by the Fort Pierre City Council. Right now the courthouse is open although the Register of Deeds office is closed to walk-in traffic and operating through mail, e-mail and phone. The Stanley County Commission will meet tonight at five pm at the Stanley County Courthouse. The meeting is open to the public.
