(KCCR) — The Stanley County Commission is holding its August meeting tonight. Commissioners will get a presentation from Scott Amundson with the Governor’s Office of Economic Development regarding a Sales and Use Tax reinvestment payment plan for livestock development and will hear budget items from the Fort Pierre and Four Corners Fire Departments. The Commission will consider a resolution regarding the Fort Pierre Chamber and Stanley County Expo Building and will consider a Malt Beverage and Retail Liquor license for Fred’s at Chantier Creek. Commissioners will hear from both Stanley County Fairgrounds Manager Scott Deal and Highway Superintendent Lee Smith and will consider a contract with Central South Dakota Communications for E-911 Service. Also on the agenda among other items are a raise for State’s Attorney Assistant Harlie Petrak and security upgrades to the Stanley County Courthouse. The Stanley County Commission will meet tonight in the Courthouse basement Commission room at five pm. The meeting is open to the public.
