Stanley County Football Finally Returns to the Field Saturday

The Stanley County Buffaloes have been sitting idly by the last couple of weeks waiting to get back on the field and finally on Saturday, the Buffs will face Hot Springs in Week 7.

The Buffaloes were scheduled to play two games from Monday to Saturday but last Friday saw the Monday game be canceled against Mt. Vernon/Plankinton. The Buffaloes went from having nine games on the schedule to the usual eight and now will only play seven on the regular season.

The Buffs are 3-2 on the season beating Miller/Highmore-Harrrold in its last game a couple of weeks ago. Hot Springs is 1-5 and have dropped its last four since the bye week. The Bison lost to Bennett County 20-6 in week five while the Buffs shutout Bennett County 33-0 in week two.

Head Coach of the Stanley County Buffaloes Max Foth says this Hot Springs team will show a lot of different looks in the game…

And Foth says taking care of the football is the top priority for the Buffs on Saturday…

Kickoff is scheduled for 6:00 on Saturday. It’s the last home game for the Buffs in the regular season.
