The Stanley County School Board is meeting tonight in Fort Pierre. The Board will consider approval of the agenda and consent calendar then declare any conflicts of interest before getting into main agenda items. Board members will get the Good News report then hear an update from the Wrestling Building Committee. The Board will consider approval of the GOLD program Parent and Student Handbook. First reading of a public comment policy will be held along with considering approval of negotiated agreements. The Stanley County School Board will consider Associated School Boards of South Dakota Property, Liability and Worker’s Compensation. The preliminary budget will be presented to board members before the group is scheduled to meet in executive session for four items relating to personnel, student matters, negotiations and consultation with legal counsel. The board will also consider a resolution and election ballots for the South Dakota High School Activities Association and ASBSD Board Ballot. Also on the agenda for consideration are open enrollments, resignations, contracts or letters of intent and a report from Superintendent Dr. Joel Price. The Stanley County School Board meets tonight at 5:30 PM in the Boardroom of the Parkview Auditorium. The meeting is open to the public.
