State Health Department Says Second Pierre Business May Have Had Covid Exposure

(KCCR) — Less than a week after advising of a possible exposure to Covid-19 at businesses in Pierre and Fort Pierre the South Dakota Department of Health is saying a third business now may have had a possible exposure. Health officials say someone who visited Bob’s Lounge in Pierre has tested positive for Covid-19. The person who visited Bob’s Lounge while able to transmit the coronavirus did so on June 12 from 10 pm to 2 am on June 13th and again from 10 pm on the 13th to two am on June 14th. Health officials say any one at Bob’s Lounge during the time frames in question should monitor themselves for symptoms for 14 days. In a post on Facebook, Bob’s Lounge writes that two regular customers have tested positive and as such the establishment is closing through the Fourth of July weekend to quarantine and to allow employees to be tested. The Department of Health has noted possible Covid-19 exposures at the Fieldhouse in Pierre on June 12th and Chuckwagon in Fort Pierre on June 13th and 14th.
