State Health Officials Preparing For Distribution Of Eventual Covid-19 Vaccines

(KCCR) — South Dakota health officials say the number of confirmed new cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus for Wednesday has surpassed one-thousand. Along with 1095 new confirmed cases are 175 probable cases as 412 South Dakota residents are currently in the hospital. Officials are also continuing to prepare for the eventual release of a coronavirus vaccine. Malsam-Rysdon says federal health officials are telling states, depending on trials, some vaccine could be ready by mid-November…

Malsam-Rysdon says individuals will have access to the vaccine at no cost except for possible administrative fees charged by health care providers. Those details are still being worked out.
