The building is available for rent for private functions for 150-dollars; however renters are advised that should severe weather approach it will still be used in its capacity as a storm shelter facility. It includes restrooms and showers on the south side of the building with the large meeting space on the north. The shelter can be remotely opened by emergency service dispatchers in the event of severe weather.  The shelter has already been used twice during the 2020 severe weather season.
