WATCO’s post three year plan calls for two to three million dollars in annual capital spending on the MRC line. WATCO already operates 42 short line railroads in the North America. The proposal would include railbanking sections of the M-R-C right-of-way from Kadoka to Rapid City. The State Railroad Board will take the proposal up again at its next meeting to allow public comment and for taking final action.
