As the soccer season concluded, the Pierre Governors, along with the rest of the Eastern South Dakota Conference had individuals selected for the All-ESD team. This year, three Governors were selected to the first team while another made the second team.
On the boys side, senior Nathan Leiferman and junior Cole Peterson were selected to the ESD first team. Leiferman had multiple hat tricks this season for Pierre while Peterson was the glue of the defense and had an engine that would not turn off over the course of 80 minutes every game. The Govs finished in sixth place at 3-3-1 in the ESD this season.
Senior Caytee Williams was the lone first team selection for the Governors but senior Andie Allison was selected to the second team. Williams has been one of the top leaders and goal scorers for the Governors in the last several years while Allison was a great defender, always in the right spot and baiting the opposing team to consistently getting called offside. The Governor soccer team was fifth in the ESD with a 3-4 record.
