Track and Field Teams Return After Snow Storm

The last time that the Pierre Track and Field Team participated in an event was last week Tuesday. The snow forced the team out of practice for three straight days but since then, have had three days of practice this week to get ready for the Legion Relays they will be hosting today. Stanley County will be joining in on the Legion Relays today as they have not had a meet since last week Tuesday in Kadoka. Both set of teams will be competing in their only meets of the week before the Easter break. For the Pierre Governors, they will be off for another week until they participate in the Aberdeen Invite.

Mack Rath has had a strong early season performance for the track and field team as she currently sits as the #1 discus thrower as well as the #3 shot put thrower in the state of South Dakota.
