The Pierre Trappers were in action over the weekend.
On Friday night they were at home They would take on Spearfish for the first time this year and lose that game in a heartbreaker 15-14. Then on Saturday they would travel to Dickinson, North Dakota. Pierre would dominate Saturday night winning 15-2. Connor McDonald would be the winning pitcher he went eight innings, gave up nine hits, two runs (one earned), two walks and five strikeouts. Pierre got the bats rolling in the game as they had 19 hits. Pierre would take on Dickinson again on Sunday night but the game was stopped due to weather. Pierre was leading 3-1 in the top of the second.
According to the Trappers Twitter account they have said that play has been suspended indefinitely and will not resume today. A make up date is still to be determined by the Expedition League.
